Jesus emphasized children in Matthew 18:1-6. We cannot allow the evil influences of the world to pull our young people away from the church and from God. At Bethel, we are determined not to let this happen. We love our young people and we are proud of them. We have a program that provides our youth a place for friendship and togetherness, as well as opportunities for growth in Christian faith and a closer walk with God is what we seek to implement.
Challenge Youth Conference: The highlight of the year for many of our youth is this gathering of thousands of teens in Gatlinburg in February.
Work Camp: Every June, area youth repair homes for families in danger of being evicted for code violations.
Mission Trips: Each summer Bethel youth schedule a mission trip to go help where and how they’re needed.
Camp Ney-A-Ti: In July, ages 6 to 19 enjoy a week of fun, Bible study, and faith-building at Limestone Bible Camp on Lake Guntersville.
Community Help: When the occasion arises, such as the April 27 tornadoes, or less dramatic events, Bethel youth will be found in the neighborhood helping in the relief efforts.
Monthly Devos: From 3rd grade to HS seniors, Bethel has age-appropriate devotionals every month.
Area-wides: Bethel HS students participate in monthly fellowship and devotionals with many churches in our area.
More: Other opportunities are provided to help our youth enjoy each other, and grow in faith and fellowship..
